Under Australian law, an expired form of ID cannot be used for identification purposes. Therefore the recipient would need to provide you with an alternative form of ID that is valid.

If the recipient doesn't have any other form of valid ID, a paid return needs to be logged via the driver app. When you do this, be sure to select "recipient refuses to show ID/no valid ID".
