How do I apply for the NSW Authorised Worker Permit?

  • Updated

As a Sherpa driver, you are an essential worker. In line with local government, you must have an authorised worker permit to leave your house in NSW as an essential worker.

To apply for your worker permit, click here. Once on the website, click 'register' and start your application. Depending on if you live in an LGA, one of the below scenarios will fit your requirements.

You live in an LGA of concern?

If you are an authorised worker living in a local government area (LGA) of concern and you need to leave your area for work ( including travelling to another LGA of concern), this is the process to follow.

  1. Log in to your service NSW account and fill out the form

  2. Use the company name linked to your ABN or ACN. As a sole trader, this is most likely going to be your own name.
