With Slots, you can view and pre-book runs for the upcoming week, helping you plan your work and have a steady & stable income flow.
What is a Slot?
A Slot is a pre-determined time frame for completing assigned jobs, offering a guaranteed earnings amount for that period. Before accepting a Slot, you can review some or all key details such as the pick up suburb, delivery area, item type, and expected jobs count, providing clarity about the jobs and location.
Details such as pick up suburb, delivery area, item type and quantity may be available prior to accepting.
What are the different types of Slots?
Shortly before the scheduled pick up time, you will be assigned a run of jobs all from a single business partner.
During your allotted time, you will be assigned a variety of jobs for pick up and delivery within a specific area for a specified duration. More jobs may be assigned to you during the specified duration, so keep an eye on your app!
How can I view & accept a Slot?
Both Partner & Sherpa Slots are shown as pink pins on the map - you can tap on the job card for more details.
You can also book slots in advance - dates that have a dot indicate that Slots are up for grabs.

Event Day Slots are indicated by the above icon - you’ll see these Slots pop up the week of the Event. Tap on the pink start tile to browse and accept Slots.
We send a reminder one day before your scheduled Slot at 8am to confirm your availability. This reminder must be actioned within 4 hours, or the Slot will be unassigned from you.
If you’ve actioned it, you will receive another reminder 1 hour before your scheduled pick up time.
I’m no longer available for the Slot. What should I do?
Please unassign yourself as soon as possible through the notifications or within My Jobs.
If you unassign your Slot within 2 hours of the start time, your unassignment rate will be affected.
Slot cancellation and overtime
When a Slot is cancelled, you will be notified via push/in-app notification immediately.
If the cancellation occurs within 2 hours of the Slot start time, you'll be compensated accordingly - this will be detailed in your Payment Summary and RCTI (see below).
Cancellation for Event Days (Valentine's Day & Mother's Day)
If your Slot is cancelled 12 hours before your scheduled pick up time, there will be no compensation.
If the cancellation occurs within 12 hours of the Slot start time, you'll be compensated accordingly - this will be detailed in your Payment Summary and RCTI, like so:
Overtime (Sherpa Slots only)
If you are assigned more jobs than can be completed by the Sherpa Slot end time, you will be compensated for the additional time spent completing them - this will be detailed in your RCTI.
A note on payment: The minimum guaranteed payment for Slots is paid out only when all jobs assigned during the time frame have been completed. Sherpa reserves the right to withdraw payment in the event of damages, missing items and unassignment of a Slot halfway through.
