Barcode Scanning at Woolworths

  • Updated

25 Sep 2025 update: This feature will be rolled out in the coming weeks. We'll let you know as soon as it's enabled in your city.

1 Oct 2025 update: Barcode scanning is now enabled for St Clair (Sydney), Baldivis North (Perth) and Officer (Melbourne). It will be rolled out to all stores soon. We'll let you know as soon as it's live.

Why do I need to scan a barcode at pickup?

Scanning the barcode helps confirm you've collected the right order. It also records the exact time of pickup, which keeps things accurate and reliable for everyone involved.

What happens when I arrive at the store?

When you arrive at the Woolworths store, share your job details with the store team. They will then present you with a barcode in their Andy app, which you'll scan in your driver app to confirm the pickup.

How do I scan the barcode?

When you're at the pickup location:

  1. Open the job in your driver app
  2. Tap 'Arrived for pick up'
  3. A pop-up will appear, reminding you that the job requires a scan at pick up
    • Tap 'Scan items for pick up' to continue
    • If you don't want to see this reminder every time, select 'Don't show me this message again'
  4. Use your phone's camera to scan the barcode shown by the store staff.
  5. Wait for the app to confirm the scan was successful

Note: If you are picking up a bundled run, you must scan a barcode for each job.

What if the scan doesn't work?

If scanning fails:

  • Double-check if you've scanned the right barcode
  • If it still doesn't work, tap 'Can't scan?' and enter the barcode number manually.
