Understanding Bulk Runs with Sherpa

  • Updated

What is a bulk run?

A bulk run involves delivering multiple same-day orders from one business that are ready for pickup at the same time from a single location.

How is the run price calculated?

The price for completing a bulk run is determined by the number of deliveries you make on that run. Bulk runs offer an opportunity to maximise earnings with Sherpa.

Pick Up Window

Every bulk run has a 30-minute pickup window. It's important to pick up all deliveries within this timeframe once you've accepted the run. Jobs not picked up within this window may be reassigned to another Sherpa driver.

What happens if I need to return a delivery?

If you need to return any deliveries within a bulk run, you'll be compensated for one return delivery per run. This applies even if there are multiple items to return, as all returns are taken to the original pickup location. The return fee is calculated based on the distance to the farthest delivery location in the run (in kilometers).
