What to Do if the Item Doesn't Fit or is Too Big for Your Vehicle

  • Updated

If you find that the item is too big for your vehicle or there are more items than you anticipated, follow these steps:

  1. Do Not Proceed with the Delivery: To avoid any potential damage and liability, do not attempt to deliver the item if it doesn’t fit in your vehicle.

  2. Verify the Item Description: Double-check the item description to ensure it matches what you have.

  3. Contact Sherpa Support:

    • If the item description was incorrect (e.g., dimensions or quantity are not as described), you might be eligible for compensation, you can reach out to Sherpa Support through the Live Chat in the Sherpa Driver app or by calling them directly. They will help resolve the issue by contacting the customer and finding a solution. Make sure to have a photo proof available.
  4. Be Prepared for Unassignment: If you miscalculated the fit based on an accurate description, you may not be eligible for compensation, and the delivery will be unassigned from your account.

Following these steps ensures that you handle the situation correctly and minimises potential issues.
