To make sure every delivery gets to the right customer, there are drop-off guidance steps in the app.
Getting to the nearest accessible location
Once you've picked up the items, tap 'On my way to delivery' and follow your maps as usual. Your maps app will guide you to the best place to stop your vehicle near the delivery address. Please note that the actual drop-off may be a short walk away.
What should I do when I arrive nearby?
When you arrive nearby, return to the Sherpa Driver app. You'll see the final drop-off point, the address and any delivery instructions - the final drop-off point may be a short walk from where you stop.
The app will also tell you how far away you are from the actual drop off.
Note: Maps can sometime point to the wrong location, especially around apartment buildings, laneways or addresses with multiple entrances. So, always double check the street address and unit number before dropping off the items.
What if the address is incorrect?
Contact the recipient to confirm their address. If you still cannot access the drop-off point, tap 'Report address issue' in the Sherpa Driver app for next steps.
