What should I do if scanning isn't working in the app?

If the scanner isn't opening or appears to be experiencing a technical issue, check that:

  • Sherpa has permission to access your phone camera
  • You're using the latest version of the Sherpa Driver app
  • Your internet connection is stable

If the issue continues, contact Sherpa Support via phone or live chat.

At drop-off

If you are scanning an item at pickup, you will be required to scan them at drop-off too. This helps confirm that the correct items is being delivered before you mark the job as completed.

Follow the prompts in the map and scan the barcode as part of the proof of delivery process.
