Temporary Fuel Surcharge

  • Updated

Current as of 21 April 2026

To help offset rising fuel costs, Sherpa will be introducing a temporary fuel surcharge on all deliveries.

Why is this being introduced?

Under the Road Transport Contractual Chain Order fuel-related payments may need to be adjusted regularly to reflect changing fuel costs.

As a result, Sherpa's temporary fuel surcharge may be updated from time to time to help ensure increased fuel costs are recovered in line with these obligations.

Where can I view which jobs are eligible for the fuel surcharge?

You can see the surcharge included in the earnings breakdown for each job.

Go to Account > Job History > tap on the total amount on a job card to see the detailed breakdown.

How long will the fuel surcharge be in place?

The fuel surcharge is currently a temporary measure to help respond to increased fuel costs and support compliance with obligations under the Road Transport Contractual Chain Order.

Sherpa will continue to work with clients and partners on longer-term approaches to managing fuel cost impacts and will keep you updated as arrangements evolve.
