When do Petbarn jobs become available?
Petbarn jobs are available daily and are released to the Sherpa Driver app at 10:30 am. Early acceptance is crucial to ensure you don't miss out.
Exception: On Sundays, Petbarn jobs in WA are released at 11:20am.
What are the types of jobs available?
You can expect two types of jobs: Single jobs (one drop-off only) and Runs (multiple drop-offs).
Note: When you accept a Run, you agree to complete all the drop-offs included in that Run.
How do I access Petbarn jobs?
Petbarn jobs, like all new jobs and runs, are released through Job Offers first before appearing on the 'Find Jobs' page. For this reason, we strongly recommend enabling them.
In your Driver app, head to 'Notification Preferences' and set job/run offers to ON.
Then, set Notify to ON so that you receive alerts for the Job Offers.
When should I collect items from the store?
Since Petbarn stores across the country have different trading hours, we've made it easier for you by displaying a pickup window in your job card - you must collect your items within this window.
Best practice when picking up a Petbarn run
- Barcode scanning: You will be prompted to use the barcode scanning feature to ensure you're picking up items that only belong in your run.
- Pay attention to 'Stop Number': This number shows you the order of the items as per the Suggested Route, helping you pack your items better.
- Follow Suggested Route: Sherpa considers all the jobs in your bucket to suggest an optimised route to help you complete your job/run in the fastest and most efficient route possible.
How much time do I have to complete the job?
While you may have up to 8:30 pm to deliver, it is important to complete it as soon as possible. This helps free up your delivery capacity so that you can accept more jobs.

Remember to keep up the quality of your deliveries - that is, keep your late rate and unassignment rates as low as possible, to increase your chances of being offered more Petbarn jobs through Job Offers.
Returns
If possible, please return all undeliverable items to the pickup store as soon as possible.
If the store is closed, you can return them the next day.
